Harold Schoenhaus, DPM, FACFAS is a board-certified foot, rearfoot, and reconstructive ankle surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a past president and current fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He holds staff appointments and operating privileges at the University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian Hospital and Chestnut Hill hospital. Dr Schoenhaus' research and clinical interests are in biomechanics, pathomechanics and reconstructive surgery, including joint replacement surgery and pediatric podiatric surgery. Moreover, Dr Schoenhaus is the surgical editor for PRESENT e-Learning Systems, an online medical education and networking resource dedicated to improving the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals throughout the world. He is a nationally recognized lecturer and pioneer in the field of lower extremity pathomechanics and reconstructive surgery. Dr Schoenhaus has authored several landmark articles in peer-reviewed journals and books. In 2015 Dr Schoenhaus was the recipient of the Gallery of Success Award from Temple University.

Robert G Frykberg, DPM, MPH, MAPWCA, FRSM, FFPM (Glasg) is a graduate of the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1976. Dr Frykberg went on to complete his residency training at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He served as the President of the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society and a Member of the Board of Registration in Podiatry. From 1992 to 1994, he attended the Harvard School of Public Health and graduated with a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in quantitative methods. After 21 years of private practice, Dr Frykberg accepted the position as Clinical Dean of the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery prior to moving to Phoenix. After 15 years of dedicated service to our Veterans, Dr Frykberg has decided to retire from his role as Chief of Podiatry at the Phoenix VA Medical Center and as Director of the Phoenix VA Medical Center Podiatric Residency Program. He continues to hold the academic rank of Professor, University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and Adjunct Professor, Midwestern University Program in Podiatric Medicine. Currently, Dr Frykberg is Clinical Professor and Residency Director, Department of Orthopaedics, at UT Health San Antonio, Division of Podiatry in San Antonio, Texas. His research and writing interests have included all facets of lower extremity disorders, but are specifically focused on diabetic foot ulcers, infections, Charcot foot, and wound care. The author of nearly 100 peer-reviewed publications, he has also been the Editor of two textbooks: The High-Risk Foot in Diabetes Mellitus (1991) and the Diabetic Charcot Foot (2010). His expertise in the Diabetic Foot translated into hundreds of speaking invitations nationally and internationally with numerous lecture engagements in China, India, Russia, South America, the UK, Vietnam, Japan, Indonesia, Italy, and across Europe.

Matthew G Garoufalis, DPM, FASPS, FACPM, CWS, FFPM RCPS (Glasg), FRSM graduated from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio with degrees in Biology and Economics and went on to graduate from the Dr Wm M Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr Garoufalis is a past president of the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association, a Past President of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and is the Immediate Past President of the International Federation of Podiatrists. Dr Garoufalis is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and American Board of Podiatric Medicine with Added Qualification in Wound Care and Limb Preservation. He is a Founding Fellow of American Society of Podiatric Surgeons and a Fellow of American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. He is also a Certified Wound Specialist by the American Board of Wound Management. Dr Garoufalis is a Fellow of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He is a noted authored of many articles and, as an invited speaker, has accepted speaking engagements for educational lectures, seminars, and workshops, both nationally and internationally, on a variety of topics pertinent to wound care, podiatric medicine and surgery, and practice management. He is considered a Key Opinion Leader in many areas.

Steven A Bernstein, DPM, FACFAS, FASPS graduated from PCPM Temple Podiatry School in 1989. He went on to do his residency at Golden Glades Regional Medical Center in Miami, Florida. In 1991, Dr Bernstein joined an orthopedic group in Aventura, Florida specializing in trauma and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Currently, Dr Bernstein is in a solo practice located in Fort Lee, New Jersey which specializes in foot and ankle trauma and revisional surgery. Dr Bernstein is Chief of Foot and Ankle Surgery and heads up the podiatric surgery department at Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus, New Jersey. Dr Bernstein has a special interest through the years in how bones heal and looking for ways to increase and improve bone healing, particularly with biologics and hardware.

Nicholas Bevilacqua, DPM, FACFAS is a board-certified, fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Binghamton University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed his internship and surgical residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Centers in New York. Subsequently, he pursued an additional year of fellowship training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and limb salvage at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, IL. This advanced fellowship focused on the conservative and surgical treatment of diabetic conditions affecting the lower extremity, including Charcot foot and ankle reconstruction. Dr Bevilacqua also visited the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Centre for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics in Kurgan, Russia, where he received advanced training on the Ilizarov technique for correcting acute trauma and complex foot and ankle deformities. ​He is board-certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is trained and certified in Total Ankle Replacement surgery and is one of the few surgeons in Bergen County actively performing this surgery. He has been recognized as one of Bergen County's Top Doctors by Bergen Magazine on multiple occasions. ​Dr Bevilacqua has published numerous articles on foot and ankle surgery in peer-reviewed journals and has also written several book chapters on the subject. He is an active member of his profession and regularly lectures at state and national levels. ​He is frequently invited as a faculty member at the ACFAS Foot and Ankle Arthroscopy Surgical Skills course held at the Orthopaedic Learning Center in Chicago, IL. Currently, he serves as a member of the Medical Education Committee for Holy Name Hospital and Medical Center. Dr Bevilacqua resides in Haworth, NJ with his wife and two children. He enjoys snowboarding and is an avid cyclist.

Leah Marie Bradshaw is a Wound Care Clinical Specialist with 3M's Medical Solutions Division. Leah is a Certified Wound Care Specialist (CWS) by the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM) and a Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse through the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB). Leah holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from DeSales University and has twenty-seven years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in both the inpatient and outpatient settings including seven years in the Wound Healing Center at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Leah is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC) and the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society (WOCN). Speaking engagements include delivery of educational and nursing continuing education courses (CE and non-CE) on topics of wound, skin care, and compression therapy.

Christopher Bromley, DPM, FACFAS currently practices foot and ankle surgery in Delray Beach, Florida. Dr Bromley's specialty within the group is Surgery, Sports Medicine, and Homeopathy. Dr Bromley has been passionate about nutrition and complementary medicine since entering private practice. He completed his surgical residency in 1992 in Baltimore, MD. His training included such prestigious hospitals as the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins. Suhad A Hadi, DPM, FACFAS graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, now Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 1997. She completed a 3-year surgical residency at the University of Texas at San Antonio from 1997-2000. Upon completion of her training, she continued as faculty at UTHSC-SA where she served as Director of Resident Education for 3 years. She then went on to private practice with Mercy Medical Group, now Dignity Health, in Sacramento, California. While there she served as Chief of Podiatry within the group and served as Medical Director of their Timberlake satellite clinic. Dr Hadi was also Section Chief at Mercy San Juan and Mercy General Hospitals and held various leadership roles within the multispecialty group. She has been with the Veterans Administration since 2009 and was Director of the PAVE (Prevention of Amputations in Veterans Everywhere) program in Seattle, Washington. She is now full-time faculty at Louis Stokes Veterans Administration in Cleveland at the Akron CBOC facility. While at KSUCPM, he was a recipient of the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award, KSUCPM MINT Scholarship, APMA National Scholarship, and North Central Academy of Podiatric Medicine Scholarship. In addition, as a podiatric medical student, Dr Johnson published several research posters focused on geriatric fall secondary to foot deformities. After graduating from podiatric medical school in 2016, Dr Johnson went on to complete a three-year Podiatric Medicine Surgery Residency (PMSR+RRA) at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura, FL. While at AHMC, Dr Johnson served as chief resident in his third year. Dr Johnson was part of AHMC's back-to-back to back ResEdSummit Midwest Residency Rumble 1st Place championship teams (2016, 2017, 2018). Dr Johnson has also managed to present multiple research projects at The Future of Regenerative Medicine Congress, ResEd Summit Midwest Conferences, and Symposium of Advanced Wound Care. During his third year of residency, Dr Johnson was able to publish a peer-reviewed journal article on regenerative medicine. His research emphasis has been focused on regenerative medicine, diabetic limb salvage techniques, and rare dermatological and bone pathologies.

Warren S. Joseph, DPM, FIDSA is a specialist in the treatment of lower extremity infectious diseases. He received his podiatric degree, magna cum laude, from the W.M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Dr Joseph completed his postgraduate training in podiatric medicine/surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital and a fellowship in infectious diseases at Hahnemann University School of Medicine, both in Philadelphia. He is currently an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ.
Dr Joseph is a fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and sits on the IDSA Diabetic Foot Infection Guidelines Committee. He is also certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and currently serves as Editor of the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr Joseph lectures extensively, and his presentations have focused on the treatment of bacterial and fungal infections of the lower extremity. He has authored close to 100 publications in the field of lower extremity infections and is the author of the Handbook of Lower Extremity Infections, now in its third edition.

Benjamin Kamel, DPM FACFAS is a highly trained and Board-Certified foot and ankle surgeon. Dr Kamel received his medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences where he graduated near the top of his class with honors and being inducted into the Pi Delta Honor Society. Dr Kamel completed intensive surgical training locally with the additional credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery (PMSR/RRA). He also was elected and served as Chief Resident in his final year of residency. During his residency training, Dr Kamel worked at many different hospitals, most notably completing sports medicine training at Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital as well as a high-level trauma rotation at Kaiser Permanente under some of the best-trained surgeons in the profession. Dr Kamel has received extensive surgical training in all aspects of the foot and ankle including sports medicine, trauma, forefoot and rearfoot reconstructions including flatfoot correction, bunion correction, cosmetic surgery, pediatric foot conditions, as well as surgical treatment of degenerative and arthritic conditions affecting the foot and ankle. Dr Kamel has co-authored and published several research articles in the field of foot and ankle surgery. He has also lectured at national conferences on topics related to sports medicine. He is currently clinical faculty at Western University of Health Sciences where he works with and teaches medical students and residents. Dr La Fontaine holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from Xavier University and a Master of Science in clinical investigation (biomedical sciences) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2006. He also has a Masters in Education with an emphasis in higher education from Liberty University in 2021. He earned his doctoral degree in podiatric medicine at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completed residencies in both podiatric medicine and podiatric surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is board certified by both the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and has subspecialty certification in foot and rearfoot/ankle surgery. Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Dr La Fontaine has taken part in the Texas Podiatric Medical Foundation's annual San Miguel mission trip every year since 2004.

He completed his fellowship with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in Trauma, arthroscopy, rearfoot and ankle reconstruction including total ankle replacement at the Pennsylvania Intensive Lower Extremity Fellowship. After completing her undergraduate degree in kinesiology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Dr Schoenhaus Gold attended medical school. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr Schoenhaus Gold spent three years of her residency training in lower extremity surgery at the former Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. George Vito, DPM, MBA, MSc, EJD has been in private practice for nearly 30 years. He has extensive experience in reconstructive surgery of the foot, ankle, and leg. He graduated from the Iowa College of Podiatric Medicine in 1988 and then completed a three-year surgical residency at Emory/Northlake Regional Medical Center, in Tucker, Georgia under the guidance of Dr E Dalton McGlamry. He has lectured and published numerous articles within the United States and abroad. He has had extensive training in the use of external frames and has been awarded an Honorary Professorship of Orthopedics from the Ilizarov Institute in Kurgan, Siberia, which is the largest orthopedic hospital in the world. He currently practices in LeRoy, New York with a specialization of foot and ankle reconstructions, which include Charcot reconstruction of the diabetic foot and ankle using the Circular Ring Fixation Methodology. Dr. Vito has ancillary offices in Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Batavia, and Rochester, New York with multiple referring physicians in the area that help recognize and support the post-operative management once a patient has the procedure performed. Dr Vito has pioneered Charcot reconstruction with ring fixation and has been performing these types of procedures since 1994. With well over 2,000 Charcot foot reconstructions performed since 1994, he is recognized as one of the top authorities in the treatment of the diabetic foot and ankle as well as general reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Marie Williams, DPM, DABPS, DHLS, is board certified in foot and ankle surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr Williams was the first clinical dean at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and is currently an Adjunct Professor for the school. Dr Williams has been in private practice since 1984. She is currently the Chairman of the Department of Podiatry at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center. She has been involved in residency training since 1986 and a Program Director in Podiatric Surgery and Medicine since 1988. Dr Williams is a speaker in the field of foot and ankle surgery as well as limb salvage. She has published several articles on the healing of complex wounds and limb salvage, while also authoring a chapter: Bone Infections in Foot and Ankle Radiology. In August 2014, Dr Williams was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts along with her teammates from Immaculata College.
